But what sets Treballu apart is the opportunity to meet and collaborate with local change makers, creating a positive impact on the Laconi community

The Treballu Community Camps will take place at the Treballu Hub, located in the heart of the beautiful Sardegna region in Italy. The Hub is a rural co-living space in the small village of Laconi, providing a unique life experience of slow living and immersion in local culture.

Laconi
A green oasis inside the village, unique evidence of prehistoric times, community values. The village of Laconi is a ‘gem’ with two thousand inhabitants, nestled in a forest, next to the Sarcidano hills, which boasts the Bandiera Arancione (Orange Flag) of the Italian Touring Club. Its original fame is linked to the most beloved Sardinian saint, St Ignatius: veneration of this saint attracts tens of thousands of pilgrims, especially during the festivities at the end of August. The visit begins at the house where he was born. This, along with the museum of sacred art and the parish church dedicated to him and to St Ambrose, built in the 15th century and modified several times in the nineteenth century, are stages of a devotional journey in the old town centre. In the village, there are also the churches of San Giovanni Battista, with wooden sculptures supporting the roof, and of Sant’Antonio Abate, in honour of whom fires are ignited in January, accompanied by the Feast of Traditional Pastries. At the end of the year, the ancient houses and noble villas are opened up during the event known as Ocraxus.

You will admire an open air museum: the first traces of human presence date back to 6000 BC. Between the end of the Neolithic era and the beginning of the Metal Age (3700-2400 BC), a unique sculptural phenomenon developed: the Menhirs.

In Treballu’s mainhouse we have a high-speed 5G connection (250 Mbps download and 60 Mbps upload). We also have a backup 4G connection available with a portable router.

REMEMBER: We are still a rural area, where disruptions and problems can happen!

We have shared and single rooms available for participants to choose from.

Both options offer comfortable accommodations in a peaceful and serene environment, surrounded by the beauty of the Sardegnan countryside.

The rooms are equipped with all the necessary amenities, including bedding, towels, hair dryer, use of washing machine and natural toiletries produced by Amaranta Cosmetica Naturale, to ensure that participants have a pleasant and stress-free stay.

Additionally, the rooms are located in close proximity to the event’s activities and workshops, providing easy access to all the opportunities for learning, networking, and fun that the event has to offer.

With limited spots available, interested individuals are encouraged to book their preferred accommodation option as soon as possible to secure their spot at the event.

You can come alone or with a group to the Treballu Community Camps. The events are open to digital nomads, remote workers, professionals, and anyone interested in the specific themes of each event. The aim of the events is to bring together like-minded individuals both personally and professionally. Therefore, if you come alone, you will have the opportunity to meet and network with other attendees who share your interests and passions.

The event is limited to a maximum of eight participants per session, creating an intimate and personalized experience for all attendees.

The limited number of participants is intentional, as it allows for a more intimate and collaborative environment, promoting connections and relationships between attendees. Moreover, the smaller group size allows for more focused and individualized attention during the professional events such as skillshares, roundtables, and masterminds.

The size of the event also helps to maintain the integrity of the experience by ensuring that all attendees have equal opportunities to participate in the social events, excursions, and workshops with local artists, further fostering collaboration and the exchange of ideas. Additionally, this smaller group size allows for a more efficient use of the space, ensuring that all participants have access to the available resources, equipment, and facilities.

Overall, Treballu is a small coliving space that year by year is growing up. However the limited number of participants in the Community Camps creates a unique opportunity for attendees to connect on a deeper level with both their peers and the local community. The smaller group size encourages collaboration, communication, and innovation, providing a more fulfilling and transformative experience for all those involved.

The schedule of activities for the event is definitely something that you’ll want to know about in advance, but it’s not something that we can give you a finalized version of just yet.

The reason for this is that the schedule will be developed together with the participants during the first day of the event. This means that everyone will have the opportunity to propose activities, workshops, games, and other ideas that they would like to participate in or lead. We think this is a great way to make sure that the program is tailored to the interests and needs of everyone involved.

We are, however, providing a preliminary and a proposal program on the event page of our website that will give you an idea of what to expect. You can find those:

  • Creativity
  • Social Entrepreneurship
  • Art and Design
  • Nature and Sustainability

This will include at least six professional events such as skill shares, roundtables, or masterminds, as well as at least six social events like excursions, social dinners, and workshops with local artists.

In addition, we’ll encourage participants to propose their own activities that promote interaction and collaboration among the group.

We also want to emphasize that the schedule is not set in stone, and it’s possible that changes and adjustments will be made throughout the two weeks. We’re committed to creating an inclusive and collaborative environment where everyone’s ideas and needs are taken into account.

We also believe in the importance of giving space to collective intelligence and proactivity, which we are sure will allow us to contaminate and grow both as people and as professionals

Absolutely! We understand that personal time is important for everyone, especially when attending an event that can be both educational and social.

That’s why we have built free time into the schedule to allow participants to explore the beautiful surroundings of Treballu Hub and the nearby town of Laconi. You can take a walk, read a book, or simply relax and enjoy the sunshine. We believe that a balanced schedule is important for the overall experience of our participants.

However, we also offer optional activities during the free time for those who want to participate. So, whether you want to be active or take it easy, we’ve got you covered!

There are no specific prerequisites or requirements to attend the event. The Treballu Community Camps are open to anyone who is interested in the specific theme of each event and willing to contribute to the community by sharing their ideas, skills and experiences. Whether you are a remote worker, a digital nomad, an artist, a social entrepreneur or simply someone who wants to learn and connect with like-minded people, you are welcome to join us.

However, we do recommend that participants have a basic knowledge of English, as it will be the main language used during the event. Additionally, participants should have a positive and collaborative attitude towards community living, as the event involves sharing spaces and interacting with others on a daily basis. Other than that, all you need to bring is your curiosity, openness and willingness to learn and grow together with others.

It is possible to arrive earlier or stay longer than the scheduled dates of the event, however, additional accommodation fees will apply for the extra days. If you would like to arrive earlier or extend your stay, please let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please note that availability may be limited.

We can arrange transfer service to/from the airport of Cagliari and to/from the Train Station of Oristano for an extra-fee.

We can and we will assist you in arranging transportation if needed.

Upon registration, we will provide you with information about the nearest airports, train stations, and bus stations.

Additionally, we can help you connect with other participants who may be arriving from similar locations to arrange carpooling or shared transportation.

Please let us know if you need any assistance with transportation and we will do our best to help you out.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we want to be as accommodating as possible. If you need to cancel your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer your spot to someone else.

If you cancel more than 30 days before the event start date, we will refund your full payment minus a 10% processing fee. If you cancel between 15 and 30 days before the event start date, we will refund 50% of your payment. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations within 15 days of the event start date.

We appreciate your understanding and hope that you can join us for Treballu Community Camps.

Selections will be completed when the maximum number of participants for each event is reached.
