If you don't know us but would like to visit, find out more about us
Treballu is not a classic bed and breakfast or an ordinary guesthouse.

It was born for those who want to experience shared life and personal and professional growth, together with like-minded people and our local community.

Those who choose to come to us, do so to spend time 'on an island in an island'. A unique place to work on your project, in relaxation, tranquillity and in contact with nature.

The space currently consists of a house that is more than 100 years old, our main house, where we live and work together. Rooms are located in other small facilities around Treballu at a maximum walking distance of five minutes.

Our coworking space is a large open space that can accommodate up to 8 people and, outside working hours, turns into the perfect place for long chats and informal moments.

The internet connection is FWA 5G with an average speed of 60-80 mbps download and we have a backup connection in 4G.

The kitchen is large and fully equipped for all your cooking needs.

Answers to most common questions

Who is it for?
Treballu is a coworking and coliving space exclusively for people who want to try this type of experience, which is completely different from the classic idea of tourism.

We cater exclusively for digital nomads, remote workers, creative people, people working on their own projects and looking for a community to interact with.

We are not a simple guesthouse and not a space for tourists or visitors who just want to have fun. Treballu was born to create meetings, collaborations and exchange, where people can work on their own project, interact and support each other.
How long can I stay?
The experience at Treballu can last from a minimum of 3 days to a maximum of 1 month. The average stay of people visiting us varies from 2 to 3 weeks.

If you decide to stay longer than 30 days, it will only be possible to accommodate you after considering the availability of any bed space and other reservations.
How our coworking space works?
The space is also used by the local professional community, and between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., the room is used exclusively for work. You will find an FWA internet connection (with an average download speed between 40 and 60 mbps) and a 4G backup connection.
How much costs to stay in Treballu?
The price of the monthly stay can range from 600€ to 840€ per person (including taxes), depending on if you choose the private room or the double/shared room.

The cost includes accommodation, use of the coworking space and any available tools, use of the kitchen (equipped for every need and with the main ingredients for cooking), weekly cleaning.
How the meals are organized?
We organise our shopping in local shops and at the Tuesday market, dividing the food costs equally at the end of the week.

Usually, the daily cost for one's share of ingredients is about 8€ per day. In our kitchen you will find every basic ingredient such as coffee, tea, sugar, salt, oil, spices, etc.

Dinner is our favourite time of the day and, considering that everyone has different rhythms and work schedules, the evening is the occasion when our community gathers to cook and eat together. Treballu was created to share moments like these, with a good glass of wine or a cold beer.

Every evening we will share the tasks: the chef, who will set the table, who will choose the music and who will think about cleaning up. all together spending a moment of sharing and community collaborating, experimenting and having fun. Don't worry if you can't cook, there will always be something to help.
What can I do during the freetime?
Laconi is a small village of 1700 inhabitants that will allow you to be able to do many different things in your free time.

Every day between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. you can choose to visit the Aymerich Park, a 5-minute walk from Treballu, which completely surrounds the entire town. 24 hectares of nature with streams and ancient trees, where you can go for a run or some sport, a walk, read a book or continue your work sitting under the trees and in the cool of the different waterfalls.

We organize small hikes in the area to discover the wild horses of the Sarcidano or the Sardinian deer. Laconi is the truffle country of Sardinia and it is also possible to organize an afternoon in search of the King of the Table, with the truffle hunter and his dog.

If you prefer to relax with a cold beer, a good cocktail or a great glass of wine while listening to good music, our friends from Sa Spillunca or Monkey Kiosk are waiting for you!
How can I reach Laconi?
Public transportation in Sardinia are not the best, but getting to Laconi is not difficult.

The closest and best connected airport is Cagliari, through public buses that leave between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and take about 2h to arrive. In case you choose to arrive in Olbia or Alghero, you will have to take a train to get to Oristano and, from there, several buses are available that arrive in Laconi in about 2h.

For an extra cost we arrange extra services to/from the airport.
